About TechHelpTips

Independently researched AI tool reviews for freelancers and bloggers

I’m Ameliya, the founder of TechHelpTips.

I research AI tools so freelancers and bloggers get honest, evidence-backed guidance โ€” not another round of repackaged marketing copy with affiliate links buried in “top picks.” Every article on this site is built around a defined test, current pricing, and a verdict that would be the same whether or not there’s an affiliate link involved.

10+ Tools reviewed and published
Free Plan limits tested and documented on every tool
Official Pricing checked from vendor sources only
5 Content clusters: writing, productivity, design, video, SEO

How I Research and Test

Every article follows the same methodology before anything gets published:

๐Ÿ” Pricing Verification

Every pricing claim is checked directly from the tool’s official pricing page before publish. No third-party aggregators. No cached screenshots from six months ago. Articles include a “last verified” date so you know exactly when it was confirmed.

๐Ÿงช Free-Plan Testing

For every tool reviewed, I document exactly what the free plan includes โ€” word limits, feature gates, trial lengths, and what happens when you hit the ceiling. For a freelancer deciding whether to pay, this is often the most important thing to know.

๐Ÿ“‹ Structured Test Scenarios

Tools are tested against defined scenarios โ€” same input, same task, same conditions. Grammar checkers run on identical text with known errors. Paraphrasing tools run on the same paragraph. Results are documented with specific numbers, not summarised from a marketing page.

๐Ÿ’ฌ User Feedback Cross-Reference

Before forming a verdict, I cross-reference real user reports from Reddit, G2, Capterra and similar such platforms. If there’s a recurring complaint not in official documentation โ€” a hidden rate limit, a quietly removed feature โ€” it goes in the article.

My standard: if I can’t confirm something is still accurate this month, I don’t publish it.

What I Don’t Do

  • No “best tool” rankings based on affiliate commission rates
  • No publishing pricing without verifying it from the official source first
  • No recommending paid plans without clearly stating what the free plan actually offers
  • No fabricated first-person experience โ€” testing claims are backed by documented methodology, not invented anecdotes
